Summer is over. But, in Arizona, the waterskiing carries on. Posted on 5th Sep, 2012 by Susan Talarico

Here it is, the end of summer by notion of Labor Day having passed. Labor Day signified the end of summer so much more when I lived back East and school started the Wednesday after Labor Day. In Arizona, Labor Day seems less significant since school starts in early August and the heat of summer does not even begin to fade until October. Our days are getting shorter but we still have a long ski season that lasts well into Thanksgiving and beyond. Most years we only take a few weeks off the water during the winter to do some snow skiing.

I am looking forward to another fantastic weekend of skiing with family and friends.
