The campground offers 22 RV sites and 19 tent sites. Sightseeing tours are available aboard the Dolly Steamboat, a replica of a traditional American sternwheeler.

Other amenities include fishing, boating, campground, and picnic tables.

GETTING THERE: Phoenix: take US 60 E to Apache Junction, exit at Idaho Road, Drive on the Apache Trail (AZ 88) for about 14 miles. Canyon Lake is on the left.

DRIVE TIME: 45 minutes from Phoenix, 2 hours from Tucson, 2 ½ hours from Flagstaff.
